About H1BScan
Ben Williams
Founder, H1BScan
I built H1BScan because I went through the H-1B process myself and found the existing data sources frustrating. The government publishes H-1B employer data, but it is spread across multiple agencies, buried in massive spreadsheets, and nearly impossible for everyday people to use. I wanted to create a tool that makes this data accessible and actionable for anyone navigating the H-1B system.
Our Mission
H1BScan is a free, open resource that aggregates H-1B visa petition data from the USCIS Employer Data Hub and Labor Condition Application (LCA) data from the Department of Labor. Our goal is to help H-1B applicants, immigration attorneys, researchers, and employers make informed decisions based on real data.
Whether you are looking for an employer with a strong H-1B approval track record, researching salary trends for a specific job title, or comparing sponsors across industries and states, H1BScan puts the data at your fingertips.
We believe transparency in the H-1B process benefits everyone -- applicants can make better career decisions, employers can benchmark their practices, and policymakers can better understand the program's impact.
